Profound Services

Profound Services established in 2006, are a dynamic and rapidly expanding training and employment agency. Graded Good by Ofsted in a recent inspection, Profound Services are recognised as a leader in work-based learning and employability programmes, we pride ourselves in achieving our employability strapline in 'people who go further'. "The large majority of learners are making good or excellent progress in their learning" (Ofsted). Aligned to this, we also run a successful warehouse and forklift training centre and enjoy a number of contracts with schools across the North East to deliver a Careers Education and Guidance service.

We work closely with a number of government bodies and the work we do is in direct response to key components within the governments and Skills Funding Agency’s training agenda. This means we are aware of new legislation, work schemes and funding packages – we are ready to advise you on the best options for your commercial training and employment needs.

Northern Care Training

NCT was purchased by Profound Services in September 2011 and has subsequently developed into a leading Health and Social Care training provider. Both NCT and Profound hold Skills Funding Agency contracts that enable funded training provision for our work based and unemployed learners.

Profound Careers are also members of the Profound Group, delivering Careers, Education and Guidance (CEG) within schools across the North East of England.

Central to our success are our staff. All Assessors and Trainers are qualified and occupationally competent. They pride themselves on providing a professional and friendly service while offering flexible support to meet the needs of individual learners and their employers. We value and respect their individual needs and ensure they all undertake continuous professional development to make sure their skills and knowledge are current and ‘fit for purpose’.

Protech City

Protech City is a computer refurbishment centre set up by Profound Group. As part of its wider business plans to break into the information technology market, at the same time as giving back to the local community.

Working in partnership with schools, colleges, councils and other businesses, Protech City draw up contracts which agree to take away old IT equipment and refurbish it.

The culture of Profound Group is grounded in the local community and for that reason Protech City will donate 30% of its computers, which will be refurbished as part of the in-house apprenticeship curriculum, to care homes, charities and local community centres. This is our way of adding value to the social, economic and physical well-being of the community.
